Ladies and gentlemen, today I'd like to share with you something very special. Something very near and dear to my heart. Something that calls out and speaks to the very depths of my soul. Something that defines my very existence. I honestly couldn't tell you good people where I'd be without this very special something in my life. The reason why I'm here today, is because of this. Words cannot describe the very strong emotions that I harbor toward this...this...WONDROUS thing. I'm so very fortunate of a human being to say that it's in my life.

What I'm talking about ladies and gentlemen, is a song. But not just ANY song. Ohohoho, this very song just so happens to be the greatest contribution to music known to man! Why? Not because of any snazzy beats -- I couldn't even tell you what the arrangement sounds like. There is no catchy, repetitive, over-autotuned chorus. I honestly haven't the slightest idea what this song sounds like, nor do I care. What I'm trying to say, is that what makes this song great to me are the outstanding lyrics. They are beautifully written, and before I read these said lyrics, I never knew that words could be compiled into phrases so exquisitely. Only a true musical genius could weave together such a masterpiece. It would take any of us average folk years, perhaps even a LIFETIME to write such a magnum opus. I can honestly say that from the bottom of my heart of hearts, that this is the sole reason why I wake up in the morning and participate in this little thing we call life. I truly hope that if you've never had the opportunity to read this work of art for yourself, then please, take some time out of your day to sit down and really dissect the greatness that you're about to witness for all that it's worth. Believe me when I say, "You'll be glad you did.".

Now, without further ado, I'd like to present the stroke of genius that forever changed my life:

SONNY B - You Can't Run Away from My Love

[Verse 1]
Everytime we felt a part
I know it's true
'Cause it came from your heart
Baby why can't you see that I
Need you here with me
Now would you be my girlfriend?

Egads! It appears that the protagonist and his potential love interest have, regrettably, had more than a few rifts during the times they've spent together. Even so, our fearless hero is not fazed by her resistance, and he continues to profess his undying devotion to her, and only her. He seals the deal by requesting for her hand in courtship.

[Chorus]
You can't run away...oh no
You can't run away from my love
Can't run away from my love
Oh no you can't run away from my love

Here's when our protagonist's conflict comes into full view. The apple of his eye continues to reject his advances, despite the fact that this good young lad has made it quite clear that they are made for one another, and that he simply cannot go on without her being his significant other. Our hero does so by eloquently stating that it is physically impossible for her to flee from his adoration, numerous times.

[Verse 2]
I'm try to steal you with my blingy bling
I try to call you on the phone ringy ring
But do you still love me?
Only you now the answer
Time passes so slow without you
And there's no proud without you
To gotta climb that cloud
Why don't you give me a second chance
To give you my sense
From love to you
And hope to
I hope you understand my love for you
Because I would die inside If didn't understand

At this point in our tale, it appears that our hero is resorting to desperate measures to ensure that this female becomes his lady friend. He even goes as far as saying that he will capture her with his shimmering finery, and that he'll continue to contact her via telephone -- a verily valiant effort this shall prove to be, indeed! The remedy, only she knows. Though the protagonist is showing signs of fatigue, it is quite evident that he has no intentions on giving up. He yearns for the opportunity to offer his sagacity to her yet again. He sincerely bids for her comprehension of his unyielding ardor. Quite simply, he would depart this life if she could not.

[Chorus]
You can't run away...oh no
You can't run away from my love
Can't run away from my love
Oh no you can't run away from my love

She cannot escape his affection, ho hum, she cannot escape his affection.

You don't even realize it, but you were ahead of your time too. The modern feminism movement on tumblr is proof that you were a visionary.
